ABA Therapy Extender (Consultant)

About the role

We are seeking an ABA Therapy Extender (Consultant) to deliver one‑to‑one behavior therapy to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and related developmental challenges. Working under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will implement structured treatment programs at the AUBMC Special Kids Clinic and in patients’ homes or schools.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct individualized ABA sessions in homes, schools, or clinic settings, following the behavior plan designed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect and record daily data accurately and timely to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments.
• Apply behavior analysis principles to develop language, social, academic, self‑help, and functional life skills while reducing undesirable behaviors.
• Participate in monthly multidisciplinary team meetings, maintain client confidentiality, and provide instructional ideas to families.
• Observe and train shadow teachers during school/home visits, and evaluate program effectiveness with the BCBA.
• Engage in ongoing staff training to ensure high‑quality care delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or Special Education; Registered Behavior Technician certification is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience delivering ABA services to children with autism.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (minimum language score 32); French is an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
