Technical Accountant

About the role

Chedid Capital Group, a leading investment group in the (re)insurance sector, is seeking a Technical Accountant for Ascoma International. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, billing, and data control across the Group’s extensive network.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and financially manage Ascoma International’s operations in coordination with the Group Accounting department.
• Manage and monitor retrocessions and handle import and reinsurance business, including invoicing brokerage fees and recording payments.
• Prepare dashboards, verify reports, and perform daily checks on import account transactions.
• Supervise overall control of import accounts and technical data from subsidiaries in Africa.
• Contribute to commercial and financial management together with the Group’s Management Control department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, auditing or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in a similar role; brokerage experience is a plus.
• Fluency in French and English.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.).
• Proficiency with IT tools.
