Supply Chain & Procurement Delegate – Iran Crisis (Ankara/Beirut)

About the role

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) is seeking a Supply Chain and Procurement Delegate to support its Iran emergency response. The position will be based outside Iran, operating from Ankara or Beirut, and will travel as needed to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services for the crisis.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all international procurement activities on behalf of the IFRC Iran Delegation.
• Ensure procurement processes align with the Global Humanitarian Services & Supply Chain Management (GHS&SCM) strategy and IFRC procedures.
• Provide logistical support to facilitate the movement of relief items into Iran.
• Maintain quality, value for money, and compliance with humanitarian standards.
• Collaborate closely with country‑level teams, regional offices, and partner National Societies.

Required profile

• Experience in humanitarian procurement and supply chain management.
• Familiarity with IFRC policies, international procurement regulations, and emergency logistics.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, crisis‑driven environment and travel as required.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
