About the role
We are looking for a customer‑focused Software Support Specialist to provide technical assistance for our restaurant and retail point‑of‑sale (POS) system. Working primarily on night shifts, you will help users resolve software issues and ensure smooth operation of their POS environments.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver technical support via phone, email and in‑person.
- Diagnose and resolve software problems related to restaurant and retail POS systems.
- Assist customers with system setup, configuration and user management.
- Guide users through POS functionality and troubleshoot related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and solutions in the ticketing system.
- Contribute to support documentation and knowledge‑base articles.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum two years of experience in software or technical support, preferably with restaurant or retail POS systems.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work night shifts.
Required skills
- POS software troubleshooting.
- POS hardware configuration and support.
- Cloud‑based POS solutions and third‑party integrations.
- Network infrastructure knowledge and troubleshooting principles.
- Use of ticketing systems for incident tracking.
