SEO Specialist & Shopify Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist who is also proficient in Shopify development to join Cannon Home’s digital team in Beirut. You will ensure our e‑commerce platforms are technically sound, SEO‑optimized and deliver a seamless shopping experience across multiple Middle Eastern markets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular technical SEO audits (crawlability, indexation, site speed, structured data, Core Web Vitals).
• Manage site architecture, URL structure, canonical tags, hreflang (Arabic/English) and XML sitemaps.
• Preserve SEO rankings during platform migrations and site updates, implementing redirects, schema markup and performance optimizations.
• Develop and execute on‑page SEO strategies for product, collection and blog pages, including keyword research and tracking.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to optimise landing pages for campaigns and paid traffic.
• Develop, customise and maintain the Shopify store using Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript, including theme customisation and app integrations.
• Lead the migration from WooCommerce to Shopify across multiple territories, ensuring data integrity, SEO preservation and minimal downtime.
• Handle product, customer, order and content migration while maintaining URL structures and redirects.
• Configure multi‑store/multi‑region setups (currencies, languages, domains, shipping rules).

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional SEO experience.
• Proven track record of migrating e‑commerce stores from WooCommerce (or similar platforms) to Shopify.
• Strong understanding of how development decisions impact search performance.
• Experience with multi‑region / multi‑language e‑commerce stores.
