Senior System and Cloud Engineer

About the role

The Senior System and Cloud Engineer will ensure high availability, performance, and security of our hybrid infrastructure. Working closely with development teams, you will design, implement, and maintain robust systems across on‑premise and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex hybrid systems (on‑prem + cloud) and lead advanced troubleshooting.
• Design and implement HA/DR strategies, including failover clusters and multi‑region deployments.
• Optimize performance of servers, databases, applications, and containers.
• Automate provisioning, deployment, scaling, and patching using IaC tools.
• Review and secure system configurations, permissions, and IAM structures.
• Conduct capacity planning for compute, storage, network, and cloud services.
• Lead major upgrades such as Kubernetes clusters, OS migrations, and cloud expansions.
• Support developers with environment and system‑level debugging.
• Perform root‑cause analysis for incidents and produce detailed reports.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in system maintenance, Linux and Windows server environments.
• Professional proficiency in English (local language also required).
• Strong documentation and leadership abilities.

• Advanced Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Containers and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible.
• CI/CD pipelines.
• Networking: routing, load balancing, DNS, WAF.
• HA/DR design, failover clustering, multi‑region deployments.
