Risk Consulting Manager – Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM)

About the role

As a Manager in the Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) practice, you will lead risk‑management engagements for banks, pension funds, investment firms and insurers. You will act as a team leader, maintain client relationships and ensure high‑quality delivery of risk analytics, credit and investment analysis, and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead FS risk‑management projects from inception to delivery.
• Coordinate and support junior team members, ensuring compliance with EY’s Quality & Risk Management guidelines.
• Communicate progress to engagement directors and partners, and update external clients.
• Contribute to proposals, presentations and business‑development initiatives.
• Package project findings into clear, concise, high‑quality deliverables.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Top‑tier academic background in quantitative finance, economics or actuarial science.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in consulting or banking, with a proven track record of managing teams in fast‑paced environments.
• Professional certifications such as FRM and/or CFA are preferred.
