Photography Lead

About the role

Shootday is looking for a Photography Lead to head its global network of photographers and videographers. You will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and managing talent to ensure every project meets the company’s high visual standards, no matter where it takes place.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a high‑performing global pool of photographers and videographers.
• Recruit, screen, and onboard talent with the right specialization, equipment, professionalism, and portfolio quality.
• Match the right talent to each shoot based on skills, location, availability, and project complexity.
• Uphold Shootday’s quality standards by reviewing portfolios, test shoots, ratings, and client feedback.
• Collaborate with post‑production teams to guarantee visual consistency and fast turnaround.
• Oversee talent performance, communication, and reliability across all regions.
• Stay ahead of trends in equipment, lighting, techniques, and production workflows.
• Resolve issues on active projects to ensure smooth execution for clients.
• Support internal teams on multi‑city shoots and high‑value accounts.

Required profile

• Strong background in photography, videography, creative direction, or media production.
• Proven experience managing creative teams or large talent networks.
• Excellent eye for visual quality and confidence in critiquing portfolios.
• Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, global environment.
• Fluent English.
