Part-time Faculty – Nutrition & Food Science

About the role

The School of Arts and Sciences at Lebanese American University seeks a part‑time faculty member to join the Department of Nutrition and Food Science. The successful candidate will contribute to graduate education in nutrition, food science, biostatistics, and public health.

Key responsibilities

• Teach graduate‑level courses in nutrition, food science, biostatistics, and/or public health.
• Develop and update course materials and assessments.
• Participate in departmental meetings and academic activities.

Required profile

• PhD in Nutrition, Food Science, Biostatistics, Public Health, or a closely related field from a recognized university.
• Minimum five years of successful teaching experience at the university level.
• At least five years of professional experience in a relevant non‑academic setting.
• Preference for candidates with prior graduate‑course teaching experience.
