Motion Designer / Graphic Designer

About the role

The company is looking for a Motion Designer who can also design, turning complex financial ideas into clear, engaging animated content. You will create animated explainers, motion graphics for social media and broadcast, and animated ads, and support the design team with static work when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Create animated explainer videos (30-60 seconds) that make financial concepts simple and accurate: costs, risk, how markets work.
• Animate social media content for Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and stories, from scripts and storyboards.
• Produce motion graphics for TV and broadcast, including on-screen graphics for sports sponsorships.
• Animate ads for Meta, TikTok and YouTube in every required format and length.
• Build animated templates and a motion style following the BBCorp brand system.
• Add titles, subtitles and on-screen text in Arabic and English, including legally required risk warnings.
• Support the graphic design team with static posts, carousels and ad sets.

Required profile

• Proven, hands-on use of AI in motion and video: AI video generation (e.g. Runway, Adobe Firefly Video), AI voice-over and dubbing (e.g. ElevenLabs), automatic subtitling, and AI features in After Effects and Premiere (rotoscoping, upscaling, generative extend).
• Showreel or interview examples required.
• Uses AI to speed up production without losing accuracy, checking every frame for brand, Arabic text and factual correctness.
• 3+ years of experience in motion design, with a strong showreel of 2D motion graphics and explainer work.
• Excellent Arabic and English typography in motion, including right-to-left text.
• Understanding of formats and safe zones for Reels, TikTok, YouTube and broadcast.
• Organised, reliable with deadlines, and comfortable with feedback and revisions.

Required skills

• Expert in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro; strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills.
• Able to turn a script into a storyboard and a finished animation.
• Nice to have: 3D skills (Cinema 4D or Blender), sound design and basic audio editing, experience animating data, charts and infographics, and experience in financial services, fintech or broadcast.
