IT Governance Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an IT Governance Specialist to lead governance, compliance, and data‑driven initiatives across our digital ecosystem in the MENA region. The role ensures alignment between IT, digital platforms, and business objectives while promoting best practices in cybersecurity, infrastructure, data governance, and business intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement IT and digital governance frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Oversee cybersecurity governance, risk management, and digital compliance to safeguard systems, data, and digital assets.
• Lead data governance, data management, and data quality initiatives to support enterprise‑wide analytics and decision‑making.
• Design and manage Business Intelligence solutions, including dashboards, automated reporting, and data visualization tools.
• Manage digital vendors and third‑party solutions, ensuring SLA compliance, cost optimisation, and service efficiency.
• Oversee user access management, tool ownership, and administrative governance across digital systems.
• Support digital transformation initiatives by integrating data from multiple platforms into unified, scalable ecosystems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align IT and digital strategies with business objectives across the region.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics or related field.
• Master’s degree in Digital Transformation, Business Administration or Data Analytics is a plus.
• 3‑6 years of experience in IT Governance, Digital Governance, Business Intelligence, Data Management or related fields.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience working in regional or multi‑market environments is preferred.
• Relevant certifications (COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, CGEIT, CISA, CDMP, PMP) are advantageous.
