Head of Support Services – Lebanon

About the role

The Head of Support Services leads the logistics, human resources and finance functions of Médecins du Monde’s Lebanon mission, ensuring strategy, compliance and alignment with programme priorities in a volatile humanitarian context.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to the General Coordinator and Country Management Team on all support‑related matters.
• Contribute to country strategy development, annual planning and financial planning processes.
• Lead support services planning and ensure alignment between operational and programme priorities.
• Anticipate operational challenges and oversee contingency planning to maintain response continuity.
• Ensure support functions effectively contribute to proposal development, reporting and donor‑related processes.
• Coordinate the timely provision of analyses and support inputs required for program delivery.
• Guarantee compliance with Médecins du Monde policies, donor requirements and national regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing logistics, human resources and finance in humanitarian or development settings.
• Strong knowledge of donor compliance and national regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to work closely with programme, medical, grants, security and MEAL teams.
• Excellent strategic planning and coordination skills.
• Fluency in English.
