Head of Power Department

About the role

We are seeking a visionary engineering leader to head our Power Department at ICC Group’s headquarters in Beirut. The role oversees a multi‑country portfolio of EPC projects ranging from solar and hybrid power plants to substations and distribution networks.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the full EPC lifecycle for conventional and renewable power generation, substations and HV/MV/LV distribution networks, ensuring compliance with international codes.
• Lead technical negotiations with international partners, OEMs and joint‑venture consortia, advising senior management on optimal solutions.
• Own pricing, cost estimation and bid strategy for power tenders, building BOQs, cost models and risk assessments.
• Develop and mentor a team of approximately 20 electrical and power engineers, allocating resources across simultaneous projects.
• Monitor project progress, budgets and schedules remotely, travelling to sites as required.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in power‑generation and transmission EPC projects across multiple countries.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to develop competitive bids while protecting margins.
• Demonstrated leadership of engineering teams and stakeholder engagement at senior levels.
• Ability to represent the company with clients, lenders and government authorities.
