Executive Creative Director

About the role

The Executive Creative Director will report directly to the CEO and own the creative vision, standards, and operations across all regions and disciplines for a leading marketing, branding and digital agency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the agency's overall creative vision, philosophy and standards across every region, team and client.
• Manage creative directors, art directors, animators and designers, providing feedback, talent development and succession planning.
• Oversee end‑to‑end creative operations, including workflows, resourcing, capacity planning and production processes.
• Act as final creative approver on key deliverables, ensuring high standards of craft, strategy and brand alignment.
• Partner with senior leaders to translate business needs into distinctive creative strategies and evaluate work against business outcomes.
• Lead the creative side of major pitches and serve as senior creative counsel to key clients.
• Co‑lead hiring, retention and succession planning for the creative department and reinforce agency culture.
• Collaborate with account, strategy, production and finance teams to deliver work on time, on brief and on budget.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, advertising or related field; master’s or MBA a plus.
• 15+ years in the creative industry with 5+ years in senior leadership overseeing multiple teams or regions.
• Strong portfolio covering communications, campaigns, branding, packaging and social media for clients in Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
• Proven people‑management track record, building trust, accountability and improving team performance.
• Commercially minded strategic thinker who connects creative work to measurable client and agency outcomes.
