Electromechanical Engineer – Maintenance & Troubleshooting

About the role

ECM is looking for a motivated Electromechanical Engineer with around three years of experience to join our technical team. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supervising a wide range of electromechanical systems to ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electromechanical equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Monitor performance of motors, gearboxes, braking systems, generators, panels, HVAC, pumps and lifting equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections, safety checks and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and maintenance teams during repairs and upgrades.
• Prepare maintenance reports, inspection records and technical documentation.
• Assist with installation, testing and commissioning of new equipment.
• Review technical drawings, schematics and mechanical layouts.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives and manage spare‑parts inventory.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance, industrial facilities, transportation systems or MEP environments.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Good communication skills in English, Arabic and/or French.
• Willingness to work under pressure, including weekend, holiday or emergency interventions.
