Data Analyst

About the role

The Data Analyst will work closely with Liaison’s Data Product teams and business stakeholders to deliver data‑driven insights that support enrollment goals. You will be responsible for building and maintaining analysis tools, monitoring data quality, and translating complex business logic into actionable reports.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, profile, process, and analyze data from multiple systems to support decision‑making across the organization.
• Collaborate with Data Product teams and business stakeholders to design and enhance Liaison’s data products.
• Identify data quality and process issues through analysis of reports and implement improvements.
• Present findings and recommendations to technical and non‑technical audiences, driving business and technology enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or a similar data‑centric role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a proven track record of extracting insights from large data sets.
• Self‑starter who can independently reverse‑engineer complex business logic into SQL or Python scripts.

Required skills

• SQL (PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
• Python for data manipulation and analysis
• Tableau or comparable BI visualization tools
• Snowflake or other cloud‑based data warehousing platforms
• AWS services and data integration/ETL pipelines
• Understanding of statistical concepts for data analysis
