BI Team Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced BI Team Lead to head our Business Intelligence team, delivering scalable, high‑quality analytics solutions for our customers. The role blends hands‑on BI development with leadership, customer engagement and technical ownership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and provide technical guidance to BI developers.
• Manage development priorities, workload and delivery across multiple customer projects.
• Engage with customers to gather requirements and translate business needs into dashboards, KPIs and semantic models.
• Design and develop reports, visualisations and analytical datasets.
• Establish and enforce BI development, visualisation and documentation standards.
• Conduct solution and code reviews to ensure quality, performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to define data requirements and analytical datasets.
• Ensure BI solutions comply with governance and security standards.
• Optimise BI solutions for performance, usability and reliability.
• Oversee the full delivery lifecycle from requirements through testing, deployment and production support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Analytics, including prior BI leadership roles.
• Proven ability to mentor developers and lead technical delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management and requirements‑gathering skills.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
