Area Manager – Early Career (2027) – GA, KY, TN

About the role

Amazon is looking for energetic early‑career leaders to manage a team of hourly associates in one of its fulfillment facilities. As an Area Manager you will own a dynamic warehouse environment, ensuring safety, quality and productivity while developing your people.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and motivate 50‑100 Amazon Associates to meet operational goals.
• Oversee inbound truck deliveries, sort packages and operate pallet jacks and, where applicable, powered industrial trucks (PIT).
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, attendance and performance on the floor.
• Work independently in an autonomous setting, standing or walking for shifts up to 12 hours.
• Adapt to shift patterns that include nights, weekends and holidays, typically a 4‑day work week with 3 days off.

Required profile

• U.S. work authorization without employer sponsorship.
• Strong customer focus and ability to lead a diverse team.
• Willingness to work physically demanding shifts in a fast‑paced warehouse.
