Workflow Automation Developer

About the role

This fully remote role builds dependable automations that turn incoming requests into workflows connecting tools and running without manual clicks. You write, test and fix code where visual setup alone is not enough, while a technology team lead sets priorities, reviews your work and supports you. The position pays a monthly base salary of USD 1,250 to 1,430 plus bonus opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Build working automations from agreed requests, starting with the desired result and the triggering steps.
• Organize incoming requests in a work management tool such as Trello, tracking work, progress and ownership.
• Ask users how they complete work today and write the steps, expected results and exceptions in plain words.
• Connect existing tools with an automation tool such as Make, moving information and starting actions between systems.
• Write, test and fix code, saving versions in a tool such as GitLab.
• Write and improve prompts for an AI assistant such as ChatGPT, checking every result before use.
• Test normal cases, missing information and failed connections, and add checks and alerts for stopped workflows or doubtful answers.
• Write short guides on use, connected tools, ownership and recovery steps, then watch released workflows and fix reported problems.

Required profile

• Hands-on experience building real automations or AI workflows, including work and personal projects.
• Conversational spoken English and clear written English.
• A computer, a mobile phone, a stable internet connection and reliable electricity.
• Ability to turn a repeated process into clear steps, including starting event, decisions and expected result.
• Careful testing habits and ability to keep saved code versions and explain changes.
• Respect for private information and willingness to learn unfamiliar tools.

Required skills

• Familiarity with visual automation tools and basic JavaScript for connecting systems, checking values and handling errors.
• Ability to write clear updates and short how-to guides.
