Technical Support – Generator

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Support professional specialized in diesel generators to join our operations team. The role involves providing on‑site assistance, troubleshooting, and maintenance for generator sets across the country. Candidates must be able to travel frequently and communicate fluently in French and English.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel generators.
• Conduct O&M activities and ensure compliance with technical standards.
• Diagnose faults using hand and measurement tools (clamp meter, pliers, spanners) and propose corrective actions.
• Provide technical support to internal teams and external clients, documenting interventions.
• Travel to client sites nationwide and respond to emergency calls.
• Maintain accurate records in Microsoft Office applications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Technical Superior (TS) degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
• 2–3 years of dedicated experience with diesel generators.
• Proven O&M experience.
• Fluency in French and English.
• Strong analytical, follow‑up and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Diesel generator operation and maintenance.
• Mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
• Use of hand and measurement tools (clamp meter, pliers, spanners).
• Microsoft Office and Outlook proficiency.
