Social Media Video Editor & Designer

About the role

CapsLock is looking for a creative Social Media Video Editor & Designer to produce platform‑first short‑form video content for TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. You will transform raw footage into engaging, fast‑paced videos while also creating supporting graphic assets that align with our brand and marketing goals.

Key responsibilities

• Edit short‑form videos for TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, focusing on strong hooks, pacing, storytelling and platform‑native formats.
• Apply cuts, captions, transitions, music, voice‑overs, sound effects and visual effects to polish raw footage.
• Adapt content to different aspect ratios, formats and technical specifications for each platform.
• Create motion graphics, overlays, text animations, thumbnails, static posts and Stories.
• Collaborate with the social media team to review performance metrics and iterate on creative concepts.
• Work cross‑functionally with CRO, Media Buying, Sales and other teams to support campaign objectives.
• Stay up‑to‑date with social media trends, editing styles and emerging creative formats.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional video editing experience, preferably focused on social media or digital content.
• Strong portfolio that demonstrates short‑form video editing, motion graphics and graphic design.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
