About the role
We are looking for an experienced Short‑Form Video Editor to create high‑retention, engaging clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and marketing campaigns. You will collaborate with producers and marketers to turn ideas into visually compelling stories that capture audience attention.
Key responsibilities
- Edit fast‑paced, high‑retention videos tailored for social media and ads.
- Incorporate emotional storytelling, trend awareness and data‑driven insights.
- Use B‑roll, graphics, animations and pattern interrupts to boost engagement.
- Maintain consistent brand style across colors, fonts and motion.
- Repurpose long‑form content into short‑form clips.
- Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline workflow.
Required profile
- Proven experience editing short‑form video for social platforms.
- Strong sense of storytelling, pacing and visual aesthetics.
- Organised, responsive to feedback and collaborative.
- Familiar with editing decisions based on audience behavior and retention data.
