Senior Functional or Technical Consultant (Murex MX.3)

About the role

Indigo is seeking experienced Senior Functional or Technical Consultants to join its Beirut office and lead implementations of the Murex MX.3 platform for financial institutions. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients, translate business needs into technical solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications for Murex MX.3 implementations.
• Interact with clients to gather business and technical details, validate outputs with managers, and provide on‑site training to client support teams.
• Create design documentation and configure or code solutions on the MX.3 platform.
• Develop and maintain build documents, and support clients during the implementation phase.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and ensure seamless integration.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or master’s in finance (or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial technologies or IT/software development.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Client‑oriented mindset and proven teamwork across groups.
• Knowledge of financial markets and banking is a plus.

Required skills

• Murex MX.3 platform.
• Oracle or Sybase databases and SQL query language.
• XSL, XSLT and XML.
• UNIX operating system.
• Java development (optional but beneficial).
