Senior Electrical Design Engineer

About the role

Consertus is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical and low‑voltage system designs across multiple projects. Reporting to the Department Manager, you will own designs from initiation through closure, ensuring compliance with statutory guidelines and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review design and layout plans for utilities, telephone, security and other systems using CAD and BIM tools.
• Prepare design packages, load calculations, and submission documents for authority approvals.
• Coordinate with project teams, manage design schedules and budgets, and support quantity surveying activities.
• Provide technical guidance and on‑the‑job training to design engineers, draftsmen and junior staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and professional accreditation in design.
• 8‑12 years of relevant electrical design experience, with strong knowledge of international and local codes.
• Proven ability to supervise and mentor junior engineers.

Required skills

• Full proficiency in Revit and/or BIM modeling software.
• Working knowledge of CAD software and electrical design applications.
• Experience performing electrical load calculations and material selection.
