Senior Data Analyst

About the role

Toters is an on-demand e-commerce and delivery platform. It is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to own end-to-end analytics for its core engines. The role goes beyond building dashboards: you will partner directly with business leaders to define roadmaps and business cases, design synthetic experiments and turn ambiguous data into strategies that affect customer conversion, driver efficiency and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Work with Product Managers, Strategy Directors and business leaders to turn complex problems into data-driven product features and roadmaps.
• Design, run and analyse A/B and multivariate tests for feature launches, pricing and UX changes.
• Analyse consumer retention, funnel conversion, courier dispatch dynamics and merchant metrics to improve unit economics.
• Define core product KPIs, build data warehouse models and production-grade Tableau dashboards.
• Enforce data validation standards, maintain data governance for clickstream and event tracking and ensure reliable downstream reporting.
• Mentor junior analysts, lead code reviews for analytical SQL scripts and raise analytics best practices.

Required profile

• 4+ years of data analytics experience, ideally in a product-led tech company, hyper-growth startup or multi-sided marketplace such as delivery, ride-hailing or e-commerce.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or an equivalent quantitative field.
• Track record of using user behaviour analytics (event tracking, cohort analysis, funnel drop-off) to influence product decisions.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL, with clean, modular, scalable code.
• Hypothesis testing, causal inference and statistical modelling in Python or R.
• Tableau dashboards and data stack tools such as dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery and Databricks.
• Nice to have: Mixpanel, Amplitude, Segment, Statsig, Airflow.
