About the role
Our client in Lebanon seeks a Senior Audit Manager with extensive banking experience to lead and coordinate audit activities across the organization. The role focuses on ensuring robust risk management, regulatory compliance, and financial integrity.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain audit procedures that reflect best practices and address identified risk areas.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to detect potential financial losses due to fraud or mismanagement.
- Review financial records, statements, and related documents to verify compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial projections to support strategic planning.
- Coordinate with external parties such as lawyers, accountants, auditors, lenders, investors, and regulators.
Required profile
- Strong finance‑based analytical abilities.
- Minimum 10 years of external audit experience, preferably with a Big 4 firm.
- Relevant professional certifications (CPA, CIA) are highly desirable.
