Senior Architect - BIM and Construction Projects

About the role

A Senior Architect with 6-7 years of experience in building construction projects is sought to oversee and coordinate architectural works from design review through execution and handover. The role calls for strong technical expertise, proven BIM knowledge and experience, and a solid background in contracting and construction execution. The architect works closely with project management, engineering, planning, procurement and site teams to ensure quality, compliance and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Review and coordinate architectural drawings, shop drawings, specifications and technical submittals, ensuring designs are technically feasible and aligned with contractual specifications and construction standards.
• Use BIM tools to coordinate architectural, structural and MEP models, take part in clash detection and model reviews, and keep models up to date with BIM engineers.
• Oversee architectural works on site, coordinate with site engineers and subcontractors, and monitor progress against schedules.
• Support planning, procurement and subcontractor coordination, including material reviews, technical evaluations and approvals.
• Ensure works comply with contracts, specifications and budgets; support evaluation of variations, technical changes and value engineering proposals.
• Inspect sites, review material samples and mock-ups, and propose practical solutions to technical issues.
• Prepare technical reports, update stakeholders and consultants, and support handover including as-built drawings.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in architecture.
• 6-7 years of relevant experience in architectural engineering and building construction projects.
• Mandatory: proven experience working with contracting companies.
• Mandatory: strong BIM knowledge and hands-on experience.
• Demonstrated experience in architectural coordination, technical reviews and site execution.

Required skills

• Revit, BIM coordination tools and AutoCAD.
• Shop drawings, technical submittals and construction detailing.
• Understanding of construction contracts, project schedules and cost implications.
• Coordination with structural, MEP, planning and procurement teams.
