About the role
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our accounting firm. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with monthly closing, forecasting, budgeting, and customer billing, and will bring an organized, analytical mindset to the team.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Work closely with team members to support the month‑end close process.
- Assist with the annual audit, including drafting financial statements and related notes.
- Research and analyze expense variances for management review.
- Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and customer billing activities.
Required profile
- 6+ years of professional accounting experience, including financial reporting and team supervision.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience.
- Strong organizational skills and an analytical approach to problem‑solving.
