About the role
The Room Service Order Taker is responsible for taking guest orders via telephone, entering them accurately into the POS system, and ensuring prompt and courteous delivery of food and beverages in line with Kempinski standards.
Key responsibilities
- Take guest orders via telephone and accurately enter them into the POS system.
- Coordinate with wait staff and minibar attendants to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance, grooming and uniform compliance.
- Provide courteous, professional service and handle guest enquiries and complaints promptly.
- Monitor supplies, reduce waste and perform opening and closing procedures.
Required profile
- Ability to work as part of a team and thrive under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
- Passionate for Food & Beverage and European luxury hospitality.
- Strong sense of responsibility, flexibility and reliability.
Required skills
- Proficiency in operating POS systems.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
