Remote Construction Estimator (Preconstruction)

About the role

We are a Los Angeles‑based general contractor specializing in high‑end custom homes. We are building a structured pre‑construction operation and need a remote Construction Estimator to own the bidding legwork for US residential projects.

Key responsibilities

• Vet and maintain a pre‑qualified subcontractor database, tracking licensing, insurance, quality tiers and responsiveness.
• Send and manage Invitations to Bid, following up by phone and email.
• Review architectural and structural drawings, write detailed scopes with sheet references for each line item.
• Level bids, flag gaps and exclusions, and feed results into a historic cost database.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related field.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans.
• Excellent written and spoken English for communication with US subcontractors.
• Highly organized, self‑managing and consistent with checklists and asynchronous review gates.
• Nice to have: experience in estimating or quantity surveying, familiarity with US residential methods, and use of takeoff software.

What we offer

• Compensation: $1,000 – $1,500 USD per month, paid monthly via international bank transfer.
• Remote work based in Lebanon, minimum 40 hours/week.
• Independent contractor engagement (Freelance).
• Work overlap with US Pacific time: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM PT (6:00 PM – 11:00 PM Beirut).
