Public Health Monitoring and Verification Consultant (3 positions)

About the role

The Public Health Monitoring and Verification Consultant will support IOM's Public Health Unit in Lebanon by conducting field verification, monitoring implementation progress, collecting data, and preparing structured reports on health interventions across three duty stations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out field verification and follow‑up of public health activities in assigned region.
• Collect, document and analyse data on disease surveillance, community outreach and health services.
• Prepare timely, structured field monitoring reports highlighting operational gaps and challenges.
• Coordinate with Ministry of Public Health, NGOs, UN agencies and local partners to ensure data quality and accountability.
• Support the preparation of summary reports for senior management and donors.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in public health, epidemiology, health sciences or a related field.
• Proven experience in field monitoring, data collection and reporting within humanitarian or public health projects.
• Familiarity with Lebanon’s health system and vulnerable population contexts.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently in field settings and travel to assigned duty station.
