Procurement Officer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Procurement Officer to lead the company’s purchasing activities in Beirut. The role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services in line with budget and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Procure goods, materials and services according to approved specifications and budgets.
• Source, evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery performance and service.
• Obtain, review and compare quotations to secure best commercial value.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and contractual conditions.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders following company policies.
• Monitor supplier performance, track orders and resolve delivery or quality issues.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases and contracts.
• Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost optimisation.
• Collaborate with Finance, Logistics and internal departments to support operational needs.
• Prepare procurement reports and provide recommendations to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Procurement Management or Supply Chain Management.
• 2‑4 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management abilities.
• Knowledge of international sourcing and logistics is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems.
