About the role

The CAMS-Atiyah Postdoctoral Fellowship in Mathematics is a two‑year, full‑time appointment at the American University of Beirut. It offers an outstanding recent PhD graduate the chance to conduct independent research, teach, and mentor students while benefiting from a competitive salary, health coverage, and dedicated research funds.

Key responsibilities

Conduct independent mathematical research and collaborate with CAMS faculty.
Teach up to one university course per term in the Department of Mathematics.
Mentor undergraduate and graduate students.
Participate in academic and outreach activities organized by CAMS.

Recent PhD in mathematics covering areas of interest to Sir Michael Atiyah.
Strong publication record.
Demonstrated commitment to teaching and mentoring.
