Pattern Maker & Fashion Designer for Premium Activewear

About the role

We are a health‑and‑wellness brand expanding into premium fitness apparel. We need a creative yet technically skilled Pattern Maker / Fashion Designer to help launch functional activewear and retreat wear. This is a flexible, commission‑based side project with the potential to grow as the brand scales.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design of garments from concept to finished sample.
• Select and specify performance fabrics and construction methods.
• Create, refine, and digitise patterns that align with garment function and human anatomy.
• Shape the overall aesthetic while ensuring fit, comfort, and durability.
• Maintain sample quality standards and prepare technical packs for production.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fashion design, pattern making, and garment development.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and human anatomy.
• Knowledge of fabric properties, stretch behavior, and textile performance.
• Ability to produce technical drawings, patterns, and detailed tech packs.
• Meticulous eye for proportion, comfort, and functionality.
• Curiosity to challenge conventional apparel design and propose better solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort collaborating remotely.
• Self‑motivated, independent, and passionate about products that improve everyday life.
