About the role

The Department of Computer Science & Mathematics at the Lebanese American University is looking for part‑time faculty members to join its teaching team. Successful candidates will be responsible for delivering undergraduate mathematics and/or statistics courses on the Beirut and/or Byblos campuses. The role also includes academic advising and contributing to program development in a dynamic, student‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

Teach undergraduate Mathematics and/or Statistics courses, preparing lectures, assignments, and assessments in line with the department’s curriculum.
Advise and mentor students, providing guidance on academic progress, course selection, and career planning.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the department, reflecting departmental needs and priorities.

Required profile

Hold a PhD in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics and possess documented experience teaching at the higher‑education level.
Demonstrate a commitment to innovative teaching practices, program development, and academic advising as described by the department.
