NLP / NLU Research Software Engineer

About the role

We are building an advanced Q&A and knowledge‑management bot that delivers intuitive, high‑quality answers. As a Research Software Engineer you will create NLP and NLU systems that push the boundaries of what is possible and achieve unprecedented performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimise massive‑scale distributed machine‑learning pipelines.
• Write clean, high‑quality code for machine‑learning models and data processing.
• Develop and refine the scientific foundations of the algorithms used in the bot.
• Collaborate with research and product teams to translate cutting‑edge research into production‑ready solutions.

Required profile

• Strong background in machine learning, natural language processing, or related fields.
• Experience building large‑scale, distributed systems.
• Ability to turn research concepts into robust, maintainable software.

Required skills

• Machine learning programming (e.g., Python, C++).
• Distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Ray, Kubernetes).
• Version control and software engineering best practices.
