Murex Associate Consultant

About the role

Sequel is seeking an Associate Murex Consultant to join its consulting team in Beirut. You will support the implementation, configuration, and analysis of the Murex MX.3 platform for treasury and capital markets clients across the Middle East and South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with implementation, configuration, and analysis activities related to Murex MX.3.
• Gather, understand, and document business and functional requirements.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert on the MX.3 platform, driving functional and technical discussions with clients and colleagues.
• Participate in testing activities (unit, functional, regression) and support defect analysis.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and contribute to internal knowledge sharing initiatives.
• Build awareness of related domains to support end‑to‑end delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of financial markets or banking systems.
• Good analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills in English (French is a plus).
• Willingness to learn, grow, and receive feedback in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Murex MX.3 platform knowledge.
• SQL (asset).
