Microsoft Infrastructure Engineer – Microsoft 365

About the role

Futurate is seeking a Microsoft Infrastructure Engineer with a focus on Microsoft 365 to design, implement, and support both on‑premises and cloud environments. The role involves ensuring high availability, security, and operational excellence across hybrid Microsoft infrastructures. The successful candidate will work closely with security, networking, and application teams.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Azure AD, Intune).
• Manage hybrid Microsoft environments linking on‑premises infrastructure with Microsoft 365.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Certificate Services.
• Configure and maintain Azure AD Connect synchronization.
• Manage identity, authentication, and access solutions including SSO and MFA.
• Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell scripting.
• Monitor infrastructure health, performance, capacity, and security.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
• Perform system patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and Microsoft 365 issues.
• Collaborate with security, networking, and application teams on infrastructure initiatives.
• Prepare technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge‑base articles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience managing Microsoft infrastructure environments.
• Proven hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
