Lecturer in Computer Science (Undergraduate & Postgraduate)

About the role

We are seeking a Lecturer in Computer Science to join our faculty at Mubs in Aley. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses, deliver lectures, tutorials and labs, and support students throughout their academic journey.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver lectures, tutorials and laboratory sessions for computer science programmes.
• Prepare, update and grade course materials, assessments, assignments and exams.
• Hold regular office hours and advise students on academic progress and research projects.
• Contribute to curriculum development and participate in departmental meetings and academic committees.
• Engage in scholarly or applied research and foster collaborations with colleagues and industry partners.

Required profile

• Postgraduate degree in Computer Science or a closely related field (PhD preferred, Master’s acceptable with strong experience).
• Demonstrated experience in university‑level teaching and classroom facilitation.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to inclusive, learner‑centered teaching.
• Ability to work collaboratively within an academic department.

• Programming – ability to teach multiple languages and paradigms.
• Cybersecurity concepts and practices.
