Junior Accounting Specialist

About the role

The Junior Accounting Specialist will support the finance team by recording financial transactions, maintaining the ledger, and assisting with month‑end reporting. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in core accounting processes within a dynamic business environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record and post all journal entries and payment vouchers in the accounting system.
• Perform bank and supplier reconciliations according to company standards.
• Assist the accounting team on various projects and ad‑hoc tasks.
• Review payment records under the guidance of senior accountants.
• Support the line manager in preparing weekly and monthly financial reports as needed.
• File and store paperwork such as correspondence, invoices, and supporting documents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0–1 year of relevant experience or internship exposure.
• Strong numerical aptitude and analytical mindset.
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles.
• Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under deadlines.
