Junior Accountant

About the role

Bionova Medical Center seeks a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to support its finance and accounting operations. The role involves handling daily transactions, assisting with month‑end close, and ensuring accurate financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions and accounting entries.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, preparing and following up on invoices, payments, and receipts.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial records.
• Assist with monthly financial closing, reporting, and payroll‑related accounting tasks.
• Monitor outstanding payments, coordinate billing matters with internal departments, and support audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication, problem‑solving abilities, and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software.
