Junior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a responsible, organized, and detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance team. The role involves supporting day‑to‑day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with stock and project‑related accounting follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate daily journal entries and process cash payments and receipts.
• Issue sales invoices, payment vouchers, and statements of account, and ensure proper filing of all supporting documents.
• Maintain and reconcile the main cash account, departmental petty cash, and perform bank reconciliations.
• Conduct regular customer and vendor account reconciliations and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and other departments to match delivery notes with invoices and capture project‑related documentation.
• Assist in monitoring stock movements, reconcile stock receipts, issues, transfers, and support inventory counts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous accounting experience is preferred, with a good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and time‑management abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software.
