Junior Accountant

About the role

The Junior Accountant will join Amiouni Trading’s finance team in Beirut on a full‑time, on‑site basis. The role supports daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions and compliance with internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Record journal entries, update ledgers and maintain accurate financial records.
• Process invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Help prepare basic financial reports and coordinate with other departments for financial data.
• Organise documentation, respond to routine financial inquiries and support the senior accounting team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Strong foundation in accounting principles and basic knowledge of financial reporting.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively on‑site and maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced MS Excel skills for data entry, spreadsheets and reconciliation.
