Joinery Shop Drawing Draftsman

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Joinery Shop Drawing Draftsman to join our technical office. You will create precise shop drawings for custom joinery and woodworking projects, turning design concepts into manufacturing‑ready documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate 2D and 3D shop drawings for custom joinery based on architectural and interior design intent.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, production requirements, and site conditions.
• Coordinate with designers, engineers, production teams, and site personnel to resolve drawing issues.
• Manage multiple drawing sets, revisions, and updates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain clear documentation and version control for all drawing files.

Required profile

• Strong technical drafting ability with a relevant diploma or degree (Drafting, Architecture, Interior Design, or related).
• Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of joinery, woodwork detailing, and construction methods.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and interior design drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail, measurement accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous experience in joinery, carpentry, or interior fit‑out drafting is a plus.
