IT Logistics Technical Support Engineer

About the role

BOB Finance, a leading FinTech institution in Lebanon, is seeking an IT Logistics Technical Support Engineer to provide first and second level support for its extensive network of locations. The role involves handling incidents and service requests, both remotely and on‑site, to ensure smooth operation of hardware and software assets.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑level technical support for incidents and service requests, meeting SLA targets.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
• Monitor and troubleshoot computer systems and networks, diagnosing hardware and software faults.
• Provide field support for IT‑related events and replace hardware components as needed.
• Set up new user accounts, manage passwords, and maintain IT inventory.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of experience in logistics, service desk, or similar technical support roles.
• Proven experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, or IT Help Desk Technician.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
• Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help‑desk software (e.g., Service Desk).
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, and basic networking.
