IT Audit - Senior Associate

About the role

KPMG is seeking a motivated IT Auditor to join its IT Audit team in Beirut. You will help assess the design and effectiveness of IT controls, support audits of information systems, and contribute to strengthening the firm’s risk management framework.

Key responsibilities

• Assist supervisors and managers in planning and executing IT audits.
• Conduct walkthroughs to understand IT environments and evaluate entity‑level controls.
• Test General IT Controls (GITCs) and IT Automated Controls (ITACs).
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to collect audit evidence.
• Prepare clear audit documentation in line with professional standards.
• Identify and report control gaps.
• Stay current on emerging technologies, IT risks, and best practices in auditing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, AI, Accounting, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in auditing IT systems and automated business processes.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, verbal and written communication abilities.
• Team‑oriented with excellent collaboration skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
