IT Audit - Senior Associate

About the role

KPMG is seeking a driven IT Auditor to join its growing IT Audit team in the Middle East. You will play a key part in evaluating the design and effectiveness of IT controls, supporting audits of information systems, and enhancing the firm’s risk management framework.

Key responsibilities

• Assist supervisors and managers in planning and executing IT audits.
• Conduct walkthroughs of IT environments to assess entity‑level controls.
• Test General IT Controls (GITCs) and IT Automated Controls (ITACs).
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to gather audit evidence.
• Prepare clear audit documentation in line with professional standards.
• Identify control gaps and report findings.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, IT risks, and best‑practice auditing techniques.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, AI, Accounting or a related field.
• Relevant experience auditing IT systems and automated business processes.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Professional certifications such as CISA are a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of General IT Controls (GITCs) and IT Automated Controls (ITACs).
