Experienced Tax Preparer

About the role

Jackson Hewitt is seeking experienced tax preparers to join its fast‑paced, client‑focused teams. You will work directly with individuals, trusts, and partnerships to complete tax returns while delivering exceptional service in a flexible schedule environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file individual, trust, and partnership tax returns accurately and on time.
• Provide high‑quality customer service, answering client questions and guiding them through the tax process.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members in a dynamic, high‑volume office setting.

Required profile

• At least two tax seasons of experience completing individual, trust, or partnership returns.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced work environment.
• Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn new tax software.
• Background in accounting, finance, retail, bookkeeping, or related fields.
