Engineering Technician – Drainage (Remote)

About the role

Agha Engineering, LLC. is looking for an Engineering Technician to support its Transportation Drainage Design team. The position is fully remote, collaborating with colleagues in Lebanon while assisting projects for the Texas, USA office.

Key responsibilities

• Design and plan civil infrastructure projects, including roadway, highway, grading, drainage, paving, site utilities and traffic control.
• Perform quantity calculations and prepare permitting packages for jurisdictional authorities.
• Apply engineering judgment to modify standard techniques, make design decisions, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Assist Project Engineers and Managers, review work of other professionals, and act as a technical consultant when needed.
• Plan and develop projects that impact major company programs and perform other duties as required.

Required profile

• B.S. in Civil Engineering (ABET‑accredited preferred).
• Passed the FE exam or willing to pass within six months of hire.
• At least 2 years of civil engineering experience.
• No visa restrictions, clean background check, and ability to travel to the USA occasionally for training.

Required skills

• Strong or intermediate proficiency with MicroStation / OpenRoads Designer (ORD) or AutoCAD Civil3D.
• Knowledge of the RDM Roadway Design Manual and AASHTO standards.
