Data Scientist - Marketing Mix Modeling & Visualization

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Data Scientist to join the Analytics team at Omnicom Media Group MENA, focusing on Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and data visualization. The position is ideal for recent graduates or early‑career professionals who want to apply data science techniques to improve marketing effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Marketing Mix Models using statistical and machine‑learning methods in R and Python.
• Analyze marketing, media, and business data to quantify the impact of activities on KPIs such as sales, leads and ROI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define modeling goals, interpret results and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Create and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau and Power BI to visualise key metrics.
• Perform ad‑hoc analyses to support business strategy and marketing planning.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related quantitative field.
• 1–3 years of experience in data analysis or data science.
• Proficiency in R and Python for data manipulation, modeling and visualization.
• Strong understanding of statistical techniques such as regression, time‑series analysis and optimization.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Detail‑oriented, curious and proactive problem‑solver.
• Familiarity with media data (TV, digital, OOH) and marketing KPIs is a plus.
